Introduction/Overview
The My Data tables in Synctera Insights are a useful collection of subject area datasets. These tables are mirrored in our Secure File Delivery (SFD) Product, available to our customers and partners upon request
This article documents the mutability of attributes on those tables.
The core elements of our ledger are, of course, immutable. However, certain atributes of our datasets are mutable.
Primary keys are immutable.
About Mutability
We identify three potential variations
- Immutable aka "Stable". For example,
transaction_id
- Mutable aka "Subject to Change". For example,
account.closed_date
. It will be empty (null) until the account is closed. - Exception Only, For example,
cards.bank_name
. We would update this if there was a typing mistake or a bank rename.
Scope of Table Definition
We publish mutability specifications for the tables defined in the My Data
dashboard.
